For my family and friends, this is a virtual letter home about my classes and adventures at college. This way, reports on my life don't have to get jumbled down the Mom grapevine.

Adagio for Haircut No. 1: Variation
Yeah, it's hard to hear. I said, "the hair was getting kinda long, so I took some scissors and trimmed it. Looks okay."
Um, OK. Aren't there places to get your hair cut in C.S.? Grandma's worried you'll "cut your hair to the scalp."
Let us know how the CC XC meet went today & how your knee is.
Speaking of injuries, Luke has a possible partial stress fracture in a lower vertebrae in his back, which explains why his back's been hurting for six months and despite recent PT.
I didn't run today and I won't run next weekend. Even if I were 100% healed, I still wouldn't have enough running workouts under my belt for Ted to consider racing me. So two weeks of training.
My IT band is on the definite mend, and it had me ignoring the slight almost-tearing feeling in my LCL (http://meded-portal.ucsd.edu/isp/2006/knee/images/Knee4.jpg) for the past three weeks, the pain of which has just recently come to fruition. I'll see the trainer tomorrow.
Oh no, Luke! I'm so sorry. Please tell him for me. Does that mean he has to stop playing for a while? Can he work out at all? Give him calcium. Give him glucosamine and chondritin. I take it all and my bones are made of iron. All my problems are ligaments and tendons . . . :(
