Wish List

Actually, I've been having so much fun that I don't spend much time on the computer.

Rockets, robots, trikes and fishes
Reveal to me Kate's Christmas wishes.

- Hockey skates
- regular gloves. I have big old ski gloves here. Thanks Luke.
- UPDATE: video camera. Canon HV20, Sanyo XACTI VPC-HD1000, Panasonic VDR.
- Climb Max or Deek and Bryan's Next Adventure REI card, thanks Mom.
- earrings. Thanks Mom.
- Photography/developing class over the break. with Teacher Dad.
- I would like to learn to use the 8mm video camera.
- sports bra from cw-x.com
- Massage Oh my God, thanks Mom.
- Here's the big one. Yosemite Mountaineering School: private lessons to cover protection, anchors, leading/multi-pitch, and finally a big wall Guided Climb. www.yosemitepark.com/Activities_YosemiteBackpacker_Climbing.aspx

That's pretty much it. Everything else is books and music.

Dinners at home:
It doesn't really matter. However, I would like the Christmas Eve meat to be free-range, whatever animal it is. That's a good present.
Lasagna. Steak dinner. Berries.

Hi Kate: Thanks for the blog post, Grandma will appreciate it - she gives me reports when you do and don't blog. BTW, have you considered putting an RSS feed on your blog so Grandma can subscribe & it will send her email when you have an update?

Thanks for the wish lists. I looked at "Once a Runner" on Amazon a while back and it was $90. Now it's $200. I guess the price goes up at Christmas.

I will keep all in mind when shopping.

And I'll look for something free range for C. Eve. I made a 19 pound turkey on the Monday we got back from San Francisco and a lot of it is still in the freezer, so I don't think we'll be having another turkey. Do you want me to save some for turkey soup for when you're home?

See you soon.

Kate:

Jennie Menendez reminded me that you have her travel bear - please remember to bring it home with you at Christmas time and if you can write a little about Colorado Springs in the travel journal and bring some souvenirs that would be great.

Thanks,

Mom

PS Today is Lucy's birthday, she's 5.

Kate:

What kind of warm gloves do you want?

Good luck with finishing everything before you have to leave.

How many suitcases are you bringing home? Remember that you're coming for a month, it'll be cold here too and we might go skiing, so pack accordingly.

Please don't forget to bring home the travel buddy for Jennie!

Mom

P.S. How are you going to get to the airport on Wednesday night? Eitehr Dad or I will be at PDX to pick you up. Please make sure you call us before you leave on Wednesday.
